THE PAC has accused the ANC of exercising preferential treatment when releasing political prisoners on presidential pardon, overlooking those belonging to other political parties.

Central to their argument is an Azanian People’s Liberation Army cadre, Kenny Doshane “Puliki” Motsamai, of Meadowlands, who is serving time at Boksburg Prison for the 1989 murder of a traffic officer during a “politically motivated” robbery in Rustenburg.

Motsamai has served 22 years in prison and said, in papers filed in the Johannesburg High Court, that he had exhausted all avenues.
