SERBIAN fugitive Dobrosav Gavric says loyalty to his friend, slain underworld figure Cyril Beeka, is what made him decide to co-operate as a witness in the murder case.
Gavric, 38, who appeared in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court yesterday, is expected in the dock again on Friday for the continuation of his bail application. He is wanted in Serbia, where he faces a 35-year jail sentence for murdering two people and assassinating Serbia’s most feared warlord, Zeljko Raznatovic, 12 years ago.
Gavric is applying for refugee status.
