Internationally acclaimed comedian and former host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, has announced the release of his new book, “Into the Uncut Grass”, scheduled to hit shelves on October 8.
The book follows the success of his memoir “Born A Crime”, which charts his personal story and the injustices he faced while growing up half black, and half white in South Africa under and after apartheid.
It further evokes excitement as audiences are reminded of Noah’s storytelling ability, showcasing his signature humour and inviting both children and adults to immerse themselves in it.

Noah’s first book was reported as an instant “New York Times” bestseller and won the 2017 Thurber Prize for American Humour.
Beyond his literary pursuits, Noah has carved a reputable name for himself globally and is also best known as the host of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning “The Daily Show on Comedy Central” from 2015 to 2022.
Last year, the Praemium Erasmianum Foundation awarded the Erasmus Prize 2023 to the South African comedian for his inspired contribution to the theme “In Praise of Folly”, named after Erasmus’s most famous book, which is filled with humour, social criticism, and political satire.
It was noted that the jury believed Noah upheld the “Erasmian Spirit” with his shrewd, inclusive, and satirical political humour.
