Johannesburg - Belinda Migor, the woman who called for blacks to be banned, reportedly spent the night behind bars after the police arrested her following her racist rant about black people.
Her arrest was confirmed by Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi on social media on Saturday. “Thank you so much SAPS for her arrest, truly appreciate the swiftness,” Lesufi said.
It was reported that she had spent the night at the Daveyton police station.
Azapo spokesperson Gaontebale Nodada said his party has also opened a case against her following her outburst.
“That for us as Azapo we cannot fold our arms when an unrepentant anti-black racist is able to go on such a rant, especially, after the other assassin racist brother (Jalusz Walus) has just been granted parole.
“Azapo has opened a case at the Krugersdorp police station ... against this racist woman for inciting violence and genocide against black people – and also for crimen injuria and for inciting hate speech which comes from bigotry and insolence for black people,” Nodada told Newzroom Afrika.
This after a voice note of Migor saying black people instead of pit bulls deserve to be banned went viral.
This week, SA Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) commissioner André Gaum described Migor's comments as "horrific and deplorable" adding that her comments constituted prima facie hate speech of the worst possible kind.
Migor, a bookkeeper, said on a WhatsApp group that animals were better than black people, who deserved to be banned and killed.
"Estella/Stella, I agree with you wholeheartedly. What I say is ban the black man. They rape, they steal, they kill, worse than any pit bull could, and they get away with it. Ban those that are making the laws, ban Ekurhuleni, ban the black man,” Migor said.
"Get all the black women and cut out (out) their uteruses and ovaries (so) that they cannot procreate, because they will all turn out the same because they all the same.
“I’m very passionate about this. Ban them, kill them, shoot them. Get rid of them because they are the problem. Not pit bulls, not animals.
“Animals are beautiful, and they deserve a warm bed, food, love and attention and everything else. God created those animals. Who created the black man. Do you think God? I don't think so," she added.
