Victoria Beckham, who turned 50 in April, has led an eventful life.

She became a household name back in the 1990s and the early 2000s as Posh Spice, one of the members of the Spice Girls.

During that time, she also began a high-profile relationship with football icon David Beckham.

The couple got married in 1999 and have four children – Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13.

After her musical career, Victoria launched her world-renowned fashion brand, Victoria Beckham, which continues to make waves in the fashion world. The success led to her establishing her own beauty and skincare line in 2019.

In a bid to give fans a glimpse into her career, family life and those closest to her, she has begun filming a documentary with Netflix.

The streaming giant said the tell-all series was set to delve deep into her fashion brand and chronicle her journey as she prepared for Paris Fashion Week next year.

“Starting in her days as a Spice Girl in the ’90s, Victoria Beckham has been one of the most recognisable women in the world,” a media release from Netflix read.

“Her Posh Spice days may be behind her but, today, Beckham is on a journey to build a fashion empire – and now, fans will be able to see the story behind it all.”

They added that the new show would focus on Victoria “and her fashion and beauty business” as well as provide viewers with “exclusive access to (her), her family and those closest to her.”

The announcement of the untitled documentary has been welcomed by fans who have been calling for her to get her own series after she stole the show on “Beckham”.

This four-part documentary, which was released in October, gave fans an unprecedented look at David’s career journey and an intimate look into his home life.

In a clip that has gone viral, Victoria admitted, after some playful provoking from David, that her father had driven her to school in a Rolls-Royce.

After the success of “Beckham”, which received five Emmy nominations and a Bafta nomination earlier this year, Victoria is looking to break her own boundaries with her documentary.

Emmy-nominated Nicola Howson, who also worked on “Beckham” as well as David’s other documentary, “Save Our Squad”, is the executive produce of the series from Studio 99 and Dorothy St Pictures.

She will be joined by Julia Nottingham as the show’s producer.

Having previously worked on documentaries such as Netflix’s “Pamela: A Love Story” and Disney+’s “Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story”, Nottingham has a history of bringing the real stories of formidable, tabloid-harassed and frequently misunderstood women to the screen.

The release date for the Victoria documentary has yet to be confirmed.
