Eswatini-born amapiano DJ Uncle Waffles is a global sensation.

Real name Lungelihle Zwane, Waffles, who recently became the first amapiano DJ in eight years to headline the “Wireless Festival” in London, has announced the dates for her New York show.

The “Madibuseng” hitmaker dropped a promo video to tease her fans with all the details for her Brooklyn Mirage show on August 18.

The promo video shows Waffles dancing at a quick shop with young dancers, showcasing their epic Amapiano moves.

Waffles, who has been touring Europe and North America, has several shows internationally in August, including the “Rebel: We Love Waffles” show in Toronto on August 1, the “Royale” show in Boston, the US on August 2, the “Osheaga Music Festival” in Montreal on August 3, “The Bellwether – Fly Radio” in Los Angeles on August 9, “Outside Lands Music Festival” in San Francisco on August 11 and “AfroNation Detroit” in Detroit on August 17.

Her fans are so happy that she’s doing more international gigs and being recognised by global brands like Louis Vuitton, who recently invited her as one of the elite guests at their show at Paris Fashion Week.

“Lately, you've been a NY baby Waffles. And the creativity in this clip is unmatched,” commented @Ethelmackay_.

Another X user, @__janji, said: “I don’t know who’s the creative behind her or she’s her own creative mind, but the effort behind her image, her promos, her social conduct is so stellar. She’s so fun and likeable.”

Waffles might be performing in Africa in October. Details are yet to be confirmed.
