Striker Gustavo Paez has been given the nod to start for Kaizer Chiefs in their Absa Premiership clash against Highlands Park on Tuesday night.

Venezuelan front-man Paez comes in for Bernard Parker, who is on the bench for the showdown with the Lions of the North at the Makhulong Stadium (7.30pm kickoff).

Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas, though, has kept faith with the rest of the line-up that won their last league game 2-0 against AmaZulu on September 22.

That means that there’s no place in the starting XI for returning midfielder George Maluleka, who missed the Usuthu match with a thigh problem.

Maluleka will play off the bench, with the Amakhosi midfield marshalled by Lebogang Manyama.

Tuesday night’s clash will be played in front of a 15 000-capacity crowd after Highlands Park announced that all tickets have been sold.
