Stockholm is the biggest city in Scandinavia, and I found it, as expected, clean, compact, sleek and peaceful.

The city is made up of numerous islands in the Swedish archipelago, each with its own distinctive character, colours and features.
Of course, ABBA is a national treasure, and this is Benny Anderson’s home.
A picture postcard of perfection – pure beauty.
The town’s water is pure mountain water and is completely safe to drink from stone water fountains still standing in the old town.
A cobbled narrow street lined with pastel painted houses with beautiful iron lamps.
Seafood like crayfish was plentiful and delicious.
The Royal Palace is absolutely breathtaking. With 600 rooms, it is one of the largest Royal Palaces still in use. It is the workplace of the monarchy and reminiscent of a Roman Baroque palazzo. It is guarded by the Royal Guard.
The imposing City Hall known locally as Stadshuset is magnificent with the tower offering stunning views of spectacular Stockholm.
