Pretoria - Yet another march will take place in the Pretoria CBD tomorrow.

Tshwane Metro Police Department spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said the public must take note of the march, to be held by the South African Municipal Workers Union.

The purpose of the mass action is to submit memorandum to Tshwane mayor Randall Williams against the political interference in the administration.

The union will also be demanding that the mayor honours the collective agreement signed at the bargaining council for pay increase backdating to 2021.

The marchers will gather from 10am at corner Eskia Mphahlele Drive, southbound, and Struben Street (old Putco depot).

From the gathering point, the marchers will march eastbound on Struben Street, turn right onto Sophie De Bruyn Street, left onto Madiba Street, proceed eastbound on Madiba Street until they reach the Tshwane House, the municipal head quarters, between Sisulu Street and Lillian Ngoyi Street.

The streets that will be affected are Struben, Sophie De Bruyn, Thabo Sehume, Lillian Ngoyi, Bosman, Johannes Ramokhoase, Madiba and Paul Kruger.

These are the same roads that were affected by the Operation Dudula march to the Department of Defence and Military Veterans on Wednesday.

The marchers are expected to disperse from the Tshwane House at 1pm.

Tshwane Metro Police officers will be deployed to monitor march and all affected streets.

Motorists are advised to avoid affected streets and use alternative routes such as Eskia Mphahlele, Boom, Francis Baard, Nana Sita, Du Toit and Bloed.
