Hyundai is planning to launch a racy-looking three-door version of its recently unveiled new i20 .
In fact the design of the new three-door, as previewed in the official sketch you see here, veers so far onto the sporty side of the design continuum that Hyundai will actually call it the i20 Coupe.
The Coupe will stand apart from its five-door sibling with a sloping roofline, bold roof spoiler, wraparound rear window and unique taillight clusters.
If it looks more than just a little European to you, consider that the i20 was designed at Hyundai's European design centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany.
Hyundai promises to tell us more, and release pictures, "in due course."
