You always know when there's a major motor show coming up - the teasers, both pictures and videos, of new models due to debut start coming in thick and fast.
In this case it's Audi's turn, as the Fellowship of the Four Rings does its best to hook us into the hype around the unveiling of the 2014 A8, just more than a week away on 21 August, to be followed by its public premiere at the Frankfurt show a couple of weeks later, where we will actually see it in the metal.
There are actually two cars under white sheets in the video.
We assume the three-box sedan is the new A8, boasting new plastics and grilles, state-of-the-art LED headlights, updated engines (possibly including Audi's sexy new sexy new three-litre diesel) and a (mainly electronic) nip and tuck in the cabin.
The fastback-shaped car is probably the eagerly-awaited new 450kW Quattro, marking the return of an iconic nameplate with what can only be described as a muscle-car.
