Award-winning actress Linda Mtoba is the ultimate jet-setter, a real terminal A queen, with back-to-back trips to the United States.
Mtoba attended the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday and looked like a regal star channelling her Hollywood glamour in a daring red dress with a puffy cape that brought the drama.
The “Queendom” actress kept things local and enlisted Bryanston, Johannesburg-based high-end, fashion designer Nolanga Made to create her outfit.
Mtoba shared snaps of her night at the Oscars with her two million followers on Instagram, giving a glimpse into one of Hollywood’s biggest events. The actress interacted with Hollywood A-listers such as Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus.
The 33-year-old actress also made an appearance at the 33rd Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, where she got a snap with Adrien Brody who took home best actor for “The Brutalist”.
Mtoba went to the Oscars thanks to Don Julio, who held a local viewing party that was attended by South Africa’s screen elite, such as Bomb Shelter’s executive Angus Gibson, “Adulting” actress Samkelo Ndlovu, “Soon Comes Night” actor Kwenzo Ngcobo, 2024 honouree Nambitha Ben-Mazwi and “Youngins” actor Lebohang Lephatsoana.
Just last month, Mtoba dazzled in San Francisco for the NBA All-Star Weekend where she got to rub shoulders with rapper 2Chainz, Druski and Karl Towns who she even got to teach a bit of vernacular.
2025 seems to be going very well, so far for Mtoba with her brand deals keeping her very busy and she is firmly stuck in her place as one of the top media personalities in the country.
