Lizzo has hit back at a troll for asking if her weight loss was caused by Ozempic or cocaine use.
The singer, 36, has recently been documenting her weight loss journey with photo updates for her fans on Instagram, and has now revealed that just months into her lifestyle overhaul she has been hit by body-shaming accusations.
She posted the Ozempic troll’s comment on her Instagram alongside another post sharing their profile.
Lizzo said the male fan had asked her: “‘oZeMpIc oR cOkE? (four crying face emojis.) she wrote in the caption.
The ‘Good as Hell’ singer then uploaded videos of herself in the same carousel of images showing her wearing a red bathrobe.
She captioned one of the clips: “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”
Lizzo also joked the allegations she was on diabetes drug Ozempic or cocaine to lose weight were “like a reward” after she has spent months in the gym.
