A mother has been left outraged after finding marijuana included with a meal she purchased for her 11-year-old daughter at an Ohio Burger King drive-thru.
Janna Michelle Baker, from Hamilton, shared her shocking experience on TikTok, where it quickly garnered over 1.6 million views.
“I went to Burger King tonight, got my kid some chicken fries... with a side of Mary Jane,” Baker said in the video, displaying the substance on a plate alongside the fast food items. She added, “I didn’t ask for a side of this.”

Burger King has since addressed the incident, confirming swift disciplinary action.
In a statement to WTAE news, the company said, “We contacted the franchisee of this restaurant immediately upon learning of this incident and can confirm that the employee in question has been terminated. We were very disappointed to learn of the incident and do not take incidents that put our guests in danger lightly.”
Baker’s attorney told Newsweek that the family is seeking both accountability and answers regarding the distressing ordeal. “No family should ever face such a shocking and dangerous experience,” the attorney stated.
Baker expressed her fears about what might have happened if her daughter or her friend had unknowingly eaten the drugs. “Adding to her distress, Ms. Baker had to confront an unimaginable situation—explaining the concept of drugs to her innocent 11-year-old child,” the attorney said.
According to local news reports the police are now actively investigating the incident..
