The Baby Expo Cape Town (previously Your Baby Show) will be held from 7 - 9 November at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Doors at the expo will be open from 9am - 6pm daily, and tickets are R40 per person, with children under the age of 10 getting in for free.
The focus of The Baby Expo this year is wholesome living for families on the go, and the expo will highlight the importance of healthy food, active living and a balanced lifestyle.
The Baby Expo, previously known as Your Baby Show, follows the same winning formula that won Your Baby Show Durban the EXSA Exhibition of the Year Award in 2007, and with some fun and exciting new features to the show it's guaranteed to be an event that's jam-packed full of interesting workshops and exhibitors, and fun for the whole family.
An exciting addition to this years event, is that The Baby Expo Cape Town - together with Pampers and Your Pregnancy Magazine - is offering one very lucky expecting mum an All Expenses Paid Pregnancy worth over R150 000. To enter, all pregnant mums need to do is visit the Pampers Preggy Lounge at the show.
As part of The Baby Expo's theme for 2008 and its desire to promote "Active families, Wholesome Living", Barney, the world best loved purple dinosaur, will perform his "At the Farm" show which features an all new line-up of songs and entertaining actions and is presented by Baby City.
As a surprise addition to the exciting Barney shows you can catch Noddy, Big Ears and Tessy Bear performances before Barney comes on stage to delight audiences of all ages. Entrance to Barney's shows is free, but to avoid disappointment booking through Computicket is advised!
At the Baked Simba Activity Area kids can participate in fun activities such as soccer goal scoring, hula-hoop, hopscotch, face painting and mini basket ball to name but a few.
Simba the Lion will be helping out, keeping kids of all ages entertained and most importantly having fun.
Showcasing more than 200 exhibitors, the expo will also feature Philips Avent Breastfeeding rooms, Pampers Nappy Changing rooms, a Liqui-Fruit Barney Play Zone that active kids will love, as well as the Pampers Sleep Well Summit where informative parenting talks and workshops will be presented by experts in their fields.
This year The Baby Expo and SuperSport are joining forces and bringing you the visitor
something different, fun, and best of all interactive. SuperSport "will present" a very active Play Zone where families are challenged to test their football skills.
