Meet The Nkoanes, hailing from Rustenburg, they have branded themselves as Mzansi’s Greatest Family, the household that has taken social media by storm with their fun family content.

They first gained traction on TikTok with videos of their love for pranks and games.

They were one of the many content creators who made the 2020 lockdown era bearable with their family content and that has garnered them a huge following from fans that absolutely adore them.

The dad, David Nkoane, is a former radio personality and after starting his career at Radio Winterveld, he worked for 10 years at Motsweding FM, three years at YOU FM, and finally left the broadcasting world in 2022.

Nkoane switched careers and ventured into business and content creation with his family and never looked back. He and his wife have a skin care product business called Velvet Skin.

He is married to Tebogo Nkoane and together they have three children, Aobakoe, Kgosi and Momo.

Winning Mzansi’s smiles one video at a time, they did not stop at just making funny family videos. The family documents snippets of their life giving what has become their community a look into what everyday life is like in the Nkoane household.

Nkoane and his second son, Kgosi, have another form of video entertainment.

The father and son duo jumped onto the podcast bandwagon, their podcast is called “Daddy’s Class” and co-host it together as they engage in conversations about life and their experiences as father and son.

Their authenticity as a family has opened doors to opportunities of brand campaigns and promotions, it also makes them relatable to their audience.

They have worked with brands such as Standard Bank, Netflix and Rain to mention a few.
