IOL Entertainment is giving 5 double tickets to the First National Delphic Comedy Championships.
In the year 2017 comedy is more important than ever. As we find ourselves navigating the shifting boundaries of racial, religious, economic and sexual divisions, comedy creators have the power of advancing discourse around these issues.
Change is in the air and with that we are calling the First National Delphic Comedy Championships. We wish to support the way that comedy illuminates cultural change, inclusivity and diversity, yet still keeping us laughing!

Join us this month as we celebrate creativity and social expression through comedy. All laughter lovers need to diarise August 25th for a night shared with the industry’s rising stars at the Artscape Theatre, Cape Town.
The National Delphic Comedy Championship presents Khanyisa Bunu, Mo Mothebe, Ebenhaezer Dibakwane and Kedibone Mulaudzi just to name a few. Comedians from each province will be coming together in our Mother City, all with the hopes of being named the Champion. It is bound to be an eventful, witty and hilarious evening with the winner being announced on the night.
