The ticket prices for the Chris Brown Breezy in South Africa concert are out and there’s a 10-fold difference in what you would pay for a VIP experience compared to general entry, R515 vs R5,744 for the most precious ticket.

For a premium VIP experience, the Hall of Fame Lounge tickets, the ones many people would love to get their hands on, will cost an eye-watering R5,744.25. These are understood to be the tickets that will have the most die hard fans really close to the stage with the pop star.

In comparison, the cheapest reserved seat ticket will cost you R515, while the general admission standing tickets will set you back R745. These are understood to be on the pitch at the FNB Stadium, but at the back behind those who would have paid at least R1,000 or more to be closer to the action.

If you want to get closer to the action, but most likely get pushed around, you will pay R1,255 for the front zone standing tickets.

While there might be a big difference in price, who wouldn’t want the luxury of enjoying the concert in style and getting the best view to see Chris Breezy?

Would you pay that price to see the “Sensational” hitmaker in action?

While the VIP ticket price is steep, many people are happy to pay for the cheaper which according to most are reasonably priced.

Social media reactions

Many are saying that R515 isn’t a bad price to pay to see an international act such as the award-winning R&B artist, but they are complaining that they won’t be seeing much where they will be seated.

@Shwe tweeted: “Chris Brown ticket prices really aren’t that bad.”

“Ticket prices for Chris Brown's concert at FNB. Me enjoying my General ticket at the top of the stadium” wrote @Vanillasausy along with a screenshot of the ticket prices and the supposed view from the cheapest seat.

@ChrisExcel102 posted the same image saying: “This is what you see when you buy w R750 general ticket to watch Chris Brown.”

One X user @GodPenuel isn’t happy about the prices saying: “Chris Brown tickets... ya look... I'll watch his YouTube videos. Or I'll wait for you guys to post cellphone video clips from the concert... singafa phela.”

@WonderMahlobo who agrees that the prices are reasonable wrote:

“People complaining about those Chris Brown ticket prizes surely are talking about the VIP ones cos the general ones are really cheap. The cheapest is literally R515.”

Pre-sale tickets went on sale on Tuesday.

However, general tickets will only be going on sale from Thursday, October 3, at 10am. Tickets are only available from Ticketmaster.

The concert will be taking place at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, this December.
