Comic Con Africa on Wednesday announced the addition of 'American Gods' actors Yetide Badaki and Ricky Whittle to their line-up.
Known for his role on American Gods as Shadow Man, Ricky Whittle made his modelling debut eighteen years ago. The star is best known in the UK for his role as Calvin Valentine in the British soapie 'Hollyoaks'. He also played Lincoln in the 'The 100'

Joining Ricky is Nigerian-born actress Yetide Badaki who plays Bliquis on American Gods. Yetide has also guest starred on the Showtime series Masters of Sex and was on the Sony Crackle series Sequestered with Jesse Bradford and Summer Glau.

The hunky Jason Mamoa, popularly known for his role as Dothraki warlord Khal Drogo, from the Emmy-winning fantasy series 'Game of Thrones', and more recently as Aquaman/Arthur Curry in the DCEU film 'Justice League', where he stars alongside Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot.

The Comic Convention is the first of its kind in South Africa, with the anticipation of the event to be as high as the comic conventions that are famously attended in the United States.
The three-day event is to be held from the 14th to the 16th September, at the Kyalami Convention Centre.
