The final episode of “Born Into Fame” concluded on a high note of drama focused around the reality TV star, Shamiso Mosaka.

The episode, which aired on Tuesday on Showmax, featured a dramatic confrontation between Shamiso and fellow cast member AJ Mafokate, sending shock waves through social media.

Shamiso, a well-known media personality and daughter of radio veteran Azania Mosaka, found herself at the centre of controversy during the finale.

The heated argument erupted when Shamiso confronted AJ for telling her to “shut up” when they were going out to Rockets in Durban.

She expressed her anger, saying, “He told me to shut the f*** up because I mentioned the colour of his shirt matching a shirt that we both have.”

AJ attempted to defend himself, explaining that he was talking to the driver and didn’t appreciate Shamiso's interruption.

“I was asking the driver to go somewhere, and the driver was saying that ‘No we are late, we can not do that’ As I am talking to the driver, you felt the need to chime in,” AJ explained.

The tension escalated when Shamiso brought up AJ’s vulnerable moment, a comment that visibly upset him.

“She’s taking something from a vulnerable moment and throwing it back in my face,” he responded, calling Shamiso’s actions insensitive.

Shamiso's anger boiled over, leading her to flip a table, sending phones which were on the table crashing to the ground.

This caused people on social media to call out Shamiso’s behaviour, with some saying she is a bully.

Twitter user @MsThatoM commented, "Nah, Shamiso is a bully! Also, why was she throwing chairs and turning tables upside down, throwing people’s phones and shades on the floor? As for Tank, telling that ratchet arse Khanya people’s business. #BornIntoFame."

Similarly, @Iam_TooMelo tweeted, "Shamiso doesn’t want to be told off and she’s doing unnecessary things. Aii, Shamiso onale drama, guys, because AJ is giving her the same energy she was giving. #BornIntoFame."

Others noticed a shift in AJ’s behaviour, with @TherealRosy saying, "I love Shamiso, but she is giving main character syndrome… Some of the things she was doing were very unnecessary. This time AJ wasn’t overdoing things and took accountability for his actions, and that was beautiful to witness."

Shamiso’s approach to mental health advocacy also came under scrutiny. @LAVISHLIVINGEVE commented, “So wild Shamiso advocates for mental health but wants to laugh at AJ for being vulnerable. She is actually a shitty person. AJ is not perfect, but all she has done is mistreat him. She can set boundaries without being rude. #BornIntoFame."
