Season four of “The Real Housewives of Durban” (RHOD) left viewers wondering if their favourites would be returning for another season following the fractures within the group.

Streaming platform Showmax is yet to announce details on the new season but speculation is rife, especially after OG cast mate Sorisha Naidoo walked off set of season four’s reunion and did not return.

Last year, Sorisha told Showmax that she would return for season five, if there were to be one, only if “there is a major shakeup”.

A recent video posted by Sorisha on her Instagram account shows her and Nonku Williams role playing and having a light fun moment together. Fans were pleased to see the ladies in a good space, especially considering how things ended at the reunion of season four.

Sanele6212 said: “It’s so good to see the ogs stick together! They are the anchors of the show and must really rally towards bringing the gurls together!”

Kgomotso Ndungane who featured on the first season said: “Loooove this energy for you guys!!! 🙌❤️.. absolutely love it 👏👏👏”

Reality_tv_africa said: “So lovely to see you two in a great and playful space 💝😄”

Both Nonku and Sorisha have been part of the hit reality show since the first season and are the only two remaining members of the original cast.

During part two of the reunion, a visibly emotional Sorisha walked off set, when her marriage to wealthy businessman Vivian Reddy came under attack, thanks to utterances by Maria Valaskatzis’ ‘gusband’ Neil.

Her fellow houseswives, Nonku, Jojo Robinson and Maria laughed, entertaining the claims made by Neil.

“I feel very disheartened that nobody felt that they had to apologise to me,” said the reality TV star in a Q and A with Showmax.

Nonku and Sorisha’s video has “The Real Housewives of Durban” fans ready for season five and glad the women have made peace.
