Popular Limpopo rapper Shebeshxt, known for his hit song “Twerka,” recently took to TikTok to show his injuries from a devastating car accident that occurred in June.
In a heartfelt caption, he wrote, “Nna ke leboga bophelo fela modimo waka,” (“I’m only grateful for life, my God.”)

Shebeshxt, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, was involved in a severe accident on the R37 road near Smelters Mine in Limpopo.
His Polo GTI collided with a truck and overturned. Tragically, his daughter, Onthatile Chauke, a Grade 3 learner at Northern Academy in Polokwane, lost her life at the scene. Shebeshxt was critically injured and spent weeks recovering in the hospital.
The accident happened just before Shebeshxt was set to perform at the ANC Siyanqoba Rally celebration concert.
Since his recovery, he has been gearing up for an upcoming event, “My Music, My Story,” scheduled for September 28 at the Opera Theatre in Pretoria.
The event is themed around a documentary that explores everything Shebeshxt has endured this year, from personal loss to physical recovery.
The TikTok video resulted in an uproar of social media comments, with many X users sharing their opinions on the matter.
Some users offered words of support, while others urged Shebeshxt to take his experience as a cautionary lesson.
