Okmalumkoolkat, who is a South African rapper, is set to honour the late legendary Hip-Hop artist Riky Rick at the DSTV Delicious International Food & Music Festival.

The event will take place on September 21 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Johannesburg and will include music, art, cuisine, and fashion and will celebrate 30 years of South African freedom.

Okmalumkoolkat whose real name is Simiso Zwane announced on the DSTV festival's Instagram page, that he will pay tribute show for Riky Rick.

"21st of September, we’re celebrating 30 years of Freedom with DStv Delicious Fest, kuzoba mnandi. I’m gonna be doing something that I’ve never actually done before – I’ve got a tribute show for uBoss Zonke, Riky Rick. So y’all, it’s gonna be Boyz N Buckz set, it’s gonna be wild."

Riky Rick, was a well know hip-hop artist, who died in 2022, leaving an indelible mark on the South African music industry.

He is known for hits such as “Sidlukotini”, and “Boss Zonke”, Riky Rick also collaborated with Okmalumkoolkat on tracks like “Amantombazane (Remix)”.

Their shared chemistry on and off stage, along with their pioneering contributions to South African hip-hop, made their collaborations truly iconic.

Okmalumkoolkat is also featured on Usimamane’s recent album “20th: Days Before Maud”, a project that includes artists like Sjava, K.O, and ANATII.

Along with Khuli Chana both of them will honour South Africa hip-hop icons. Chana will honour AKA, who passed away in Durban on February 10.
