DJ Mpho.Wav is scheduled to drop his new album titled “Book of Wav” at the end of September.
Hailing from Orange Farm, the artist and acclaimed producer, who is born Mpho Mohlong, announced his upcoming album on social media.
“The wait is over! On September 27th, mpho.wav unveils his debut album Book of Wav. This isn't just music - it's a journey. A fusion of Afro house, live jazz, gospel, and soul, crafted with heart, guided by legends, and brought to life by some of the finest artists in the game. Get ready to experience the sound that's about to change everything.”
The artist has also been releasing singles of the upcoming album which he refers to as “letters from the ‘Book of Wav’”.
These singles includes “Emini” which featured the singer and songwriter Simmy.
Another single of the artist is “Atmos Wav” featuring Samukelo Shembe who is known by his stage name, Atmos Blaq. This single is set to be released on Friday.
The artist has also dropped the single titled “Love” with Azana in April.
These singles have been well received by Mpho.Wav’s fans. As they wait for the album to be released, they have taken to social media to share their excitement about this announcement.
Facebook user Xolleh Ndunu shared that this is the announcement she has been waiting for.
“Finally the announcement I've been waiting for after also these years since I started following your musical career.”
Another Facebook user Teleki Da Metronome said Mpho.Wav always releases good music.
“This guy produces such good music.”
