Jeremy Loops’s new single, "Go Again", seeks to serve as a beacon of hope and a reminder to embrace every moment, regardless of challenges.

The South African singer and songwriter’s new track, which was released on Wednesday, September 11, captures his signature blend of heartfelt lyricism and infectious melodies.

It also offers listeners a stirring message of resilience as it is rooted in a powerful mantra of pushing through life’s hardships.

"’Go Again’ is my declaration to lean into positivity, to find strength in the storm and to bring the sunshine, even when it’s raining,” he explained in a statement.

“It’s a song for anyone who needs to remember that the obstacle is the way, the only way is through and we must keep moving forward, one breath at a time.”

His latest song follows the release of “Dust Over Dunes”, which dropped on August 2, and marked Loops’s first new music in nearly two years.

“Go Again” was created in the artist’s Cape Town studio, where he collaborated with Edd Holloway, who is renowned for his work with Dean Lewis and Lewis Capaldi.

The song was co-written and co-produced by Jeremy and Holloway, with mixing by Will Reeves, who previously worked with DJ Khalid, Stormzy and Olivia Dean.

“In a world turned upside down by pandemics, war and division, writing music has felt like wrestling with shadows," he said.

“Many of the songs on my upcoming album speak to this journey. But ‘Go Again’ emerged as a beacon of hope, a song for those days when hope felt distant.”

Loops has become a major force in the music industry and has earned a reputation for his captivating live performances and blend of modern folk music.

From his humble beginnings in Cape Town’s bars to selling out arenas globally, his dynamic stage presence has drawn attention from international promoters.

This has led to tours with artists like Twenty One Pilots and Milky Chance. He is also a regular performer at global music festivals.

Loops’s critically acclaimed albums, including his 2014 debut album “Trading Change”, 2018’s “Critical As Water” as well as “Heard You Got Love” which was released in 2022, have also gone a long way in solidifying his reputation.

Some of his accolades include a Best Newcomer nomination at the South African Music Awards as well as MTV Africa's Best Alternative & Pop Album.

With more than 400 million streams and extensive tours across Europe, Loops is one of South Africa’s most successful musical exports.

He is also a passionate environmentalist and has co-founded Greenpop, an organisation dedicated to environmental restoration and education.
