On May 17, IOL published the story WATCH: David Tlale slams free-loading Mzansi celebs who won't pay for his designs, but pay for lux global brands.
IOL named Savita Mbuli and Basetsana Kumalo as the celebrities Tlale was referring to.
During the interview upon which the story was based, Tlale did not explicitly name Mbuli nor Kumalo.
IOL apologises unreservedly to both Mbuli and Kumalo for the inference.
