London - Jamie Dornan isn't afraid of the sex scenes in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.

'The Fall' actor - who is replacing Charlie Hunnam for the role of sadomasochistic billionaire Christian Grey - wasn't "shocked" by the raunchy scenes which he will have to tackle with co-star Dakota Johnson - who has been cast as love his love interest, Anastasia Steele - in the adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling trilogy.

He told Entertainment Weekly magazine: "I'm a fairly worldly guy. I grew up in a very liberal place. I'm not saying we had a playroom, but I'm not shocked [by the sex in the book]. It's essential to tell the story. I can't believe films that don't invoke the sexual side of it. So it works for me."

Quizzed on how he felt when he was told he landed the part, he added: "There was a slight fear. But beyond anything else, I was really f**king excited."

Meanwhile Dakota is concerned about her appearance when she strips down for the sex scenes and wants to make sure the camera captures her best angles.

She added: "Obviously, I want to look good naked. I totally understand now why people exercise, because it kind of f**king feels awesome." - Bang Showbiz
