Great talk show host, comedienne and actress. Author... maybe not.
I really can’t help but feel that Ellen was bored when she wrote this book, often stating the obvious in topics such as “Why don’t people write letters anymore?”, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and clutter, but as the title says, she’s kidding mostly.
You can’t help but hear her voice as you read through and expect a barrel of laughs, but my mind often wandered and I was bored.
I think the sales of this book will rely heavily on her huge following, but a word of advice: don’t buy it if you want a laugh. Seriously, I’m not kidding. – Daily News
