Nothing unites as splendidly as Rassie and Kolisi’s Boks

The crowd at Cape Town's Greenpoint stadium erupted with joy as the Springboks, once again, brushed off the once mighty All Blacks!

Our brave captain Siya Kolisi, despite having had a facial fracture from last weekend's game at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, stood up to the intense physical battle brought by the New Zealanders, and delivered once again with a try and a win for the coveted Freedom Cup.

South Africans could be seen singing, dancing, embracing one another, with faces painted and our flag being waved by many die-hard supporters. Siya's post match speech was also an epic one; what a gentleman! What a player! What a leader!

Even New Zealand pundits are now saying that the Boks are World Champions for a reason! They know how to win!

My only wish for South Africa now is that our government, our people and all critics will agree that this winning formula of the Boks needs to implemented on a much wider scale.

Ramaphosa must learn from Rassie and Kolisi and stop hiding the successes of our Rugby team in the fear that we might just unite, and forget racism all together! But the ANC loves division, so too the EFF and dreaded MK hooligans. Our economy suffers due to this obsession with BBEE and the fact that everything is about colour and serving the hungry cadres!

Its time for change, Cyril! Its time for change, John Steenhuisen! You hold the keys, so start making the changes! Just look at the Boks! Learn from them, embrace them! Our country needs healing from racism, desperately! Siya for President!!
