Durban — A liquor shop in a Durban mall was robbed of cash and liquor by a gang of armed men.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Nqobile Gwala said Berea police were investigating a case of business robbery.
“A case of business robbery is being investigated by Berea SAPS. It is alleged that on July 8, 2022, at 2.40pm, a group of armed men entered the business premises situated in Musgrave Road and demanded cash,” Gwala said.
“They took cash and various liquor before fleeing the scene.”
Initial reports indicated that Pick n Pay Liquor in Musgrave Centre had been robbed of cash and liquor by five men.
