Cape Town - Women are being killed daily, mostly by those who are supposed to protect them.
Although some men are convicted for this, they barely stay in jail long enough to learn their lesson. What has happened to the men of this nation to kill without any remorse? When will this ever end? Mothers, sisters, daughters, the entire female generation will cease to exist because of us, men.
As people who were meant to protect them, we have failed. God made us stronger so that we can protect women, not hurt them and eventually kill them.
The nation is bleeding and women are crying. The justice system has failed to protect the rights and the lives of ordinary women. It all starts as a small argument then eventually there is a body found in the middle of nowhere, bruised and battered. A real man would never lay a hand on someone who he claims to love. Even tough love does not involve killing your lover. This must end! “I am human, I am only flesh and also make mistakes”, that’s what we say when we spew lies to our sisters, pretending that it is the last time. Who is next?
Our task now as men is to show women of this nation that we really love and appreciate their existence on this planet. Women, and even schoolgirls are now afraid to walk to school or work, because of us men. Some men have given the entire existence of men a bad name; we are seen as dogs, monsters just because of a portion of men in this country. How many more will have to die for us to realise that what we are doing is totally absurd? This must come to an end. We can do better!
My sister, Raymond David Sales once said: “To forgive does not mean that you condone, agree with, or give your approval to anyone or anything. Rather, it is a powerful acknowledgement to yourself that I am willing to let this go. I am willing to move forward in my life.”
With that said, you can forgive him when he starts hitting you, but do yourself a favour and leave that relationship, because when he starts hitting you, he will never stop.
You deserve a lot more than that; there is more value in you than in precious stones. Walk out, you can do without him, because you are complete. God bless all women in the world.
