FILMGOERS can unite with audiences in over 250 cities on six continents to view and judge the work of the next generation of film-makers from around the world when the 17th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival screens at the Labia Theatre from Friday to October 2.
Manhattan Short received 589 short film entries from 47 countries. These shorts will not only entertain a global audience but will be judged by that audience as well. The 10 selected films are set in diverse locales. On the line-up are 97%(Ben Brand), Crime – The Animated Series(Alix Lambert and Sam Chou), On The Bridge(Elena Fuller), Shift(James Croke), The Fall(Andreas Thaulow), On/Off(Thierry Lorenzi), La Carnada(Josh Soskin), Mend And Make Do(Bexie Bush), The Bravest, The Boldest(Monn Molson) and Rhino Full Throttle(Erik Schmitt).
